AI agent for Windows
Desktop app and Chrome extension

Your computer. Your agent. Your work, done.

Orbit is an AI agent for Windows that researches the web, finds business leads, works across your browser, organizes files and handles repetitive tasks, right from your desktop.

An Orbit for Windows window. The task “Find 10 HVAC companies in Tampa with their phone numbers and websites.” runs step by step: Orbit searches Google Maps in Chrome, collects details from each listing, checks the websites and saves a lead list of ten companies with their phone numbers and websites.

(04)How it works

From ask to done, in three steps.

No workflows to build and no scripts to write. You describe the outcome, Orbit works out the steps and shows them as it goes.

  1. 01Plain language

    Describe your task

Tell Orbit what you need in your own words, the way you would brief a colleague.

  2. 02Engine + Chrome

    Orbit gets to work

The agent plans the workflow and uses its tools: the local engine, web access and your connected Chrome browser.

  3. 03You stay in control

    Review the results

See completed work, research findings, generated files and task summaries. Confirm consequential actions when Orbit asks.

(05)Desktop and browser

Two parts, one agent.

Orbit for Windows is where you give tasks and review results. The Chrome extension lets Orbit work in your real tabs. The installer connects the two.

Orbit needs your approval

You're about to submit a form on the current website.

Wherebayshoreair.example/contact

Bayshore Air & Heat will receive this message. A submitted form can't be taken back.

  • You approve what matters

Sending messages, submitting forms and changing files always wait for your confirmation, with a clear preview of what will happen.

  • CAPTCHAs stay with you

Orbit does not solve CAPTCHAs. It pauses, tells you why, and carries on once you have dealt with it in Chrome.

  • New files, never overwrites

Results land in new files in your workspace instead of replacing existing ones, and file operations can be undone.

  • Every step in view

A readable activity log shows what Orbit is doing, which tool it is using and what it found along the way.

Orbit's engine runs on your PC. When a task needs AI reasoning, Orbit sends the relevant context to the AI provider you set up in Settings, such as Groq.

(07)Get started

Up and running in four steps.

The installer does the setup work. You add an AI key, and Orbit is ready for its first task.

Read the setup guide
  1. Step 01

    Download and install

Run the Orbit installer for Windows. It sets up the desktop app and its local engine.

  2. Step 02

    Connect Chrome

The installer connects the Orbit extension to Chrome, so Orbit can work in your real tabs.

  3. Step 03

    Add an AI key

Paste a free Groq API key in Settings, under AI model, to switch on full AI reasoning.

  4. Step 04

    Give Orbit a task

Describe what you need. Orbit plans it, runs it and shows you every step on the way.

No API key yet? Orbit starts in offline test mode.

It can run simple scripted workflows so you can check everything works, but it doesn't reason, research or plan until you add a key.
